Ratu is a "living man" that appears to be able to teleport himself from one place to another. This is made possible by his hair, which is infused with the power of magic. Ratu can use this hair in various ways, for example in order to stop bullets, in order create illusions and also in order to shack up with other living people. He appears in the "real world" after appearing in an imaginary one, seeing if he would be accepted back into society or not. She works at a security company and has no idea how she got there because her boss does not remember anything about her ever working there before. Ratu soon meets with her friend, Tani. Ratu is transported to an imaginary world that is similar to the one that she just left. The difference between the two worlds, is that Ratu's hair now has the power of magic. Ratu realizes this after she sees her hair attack a bunch of bad guys without her realizing it, she was just simply lifting it up and seeing where it goes. As soon as Ratu realizes this, she decides to use her magic powers in order to become a hero and fight against evil doers. She gets reunited with her father, King Zu, who becomes her sidekick.The film was developed by Blue Sky Studios, who have developed other CGI-based films such as the "Ice Age" series and the "Rio" series. The film's animated look is very different from that of its predecessor, the 3D-animated television series "". Some aspects of that show are parodied in "Ratu Adil".
